Join represent collaborative.

REP CO is completely pro bono creative collaborative made up of some of the best in the media biz that offers free, high-quality content creation as well as PR and marketing for Black and POC-led businesses, non-profits, activists, artists, racial-and-social justice actions, and more. If you are a writer, reporter, editor, photographer, illustrator, graphic designer, or marketing professional, we would love to have you on board. Together, we can create beautiful, captivating, ready-to-publish, quality coverage of the issues and people that might otherwise "stop trending" over the next few months. We’re not asking you to make your new full-time job working for free. We are just asking—specifically of our white colleagues—to consider donating some hours each month to telling stories just because they should be told. By signing up through Patreon, your $9 membership fee will go directly to paying Black creatives contributing to REP CO. Whether you can take on one assignment a month, or one every six months, your commitment is what matters.

We look forward to hosting in-person events and educational panels once it is safe to do so.

Make a donation.

Don’t have the time or applicable skills to sign up? You can still join us by making a cash donation. While all our non-BIPOC contributors donate their time and talent, we are committed to always paying Black creators for their work. All donations go directly towards paying the Black writers, photographers, and designers who contribute to REP CO, and compensating the REP CO executive advisory team, made up completely of Black media professionals.

What People Are Saying

“Becoming a REP CO contributor was the easiest decision I’ve made this year, and still, I didn’t foresee having such powerful, profound experiences after my first few stories.”

— Rachelle Derouin, Photographer

“It's super important for folks in media to use their platforms, talents, and privileges to uplift and share the stories from all corners of our communities. There's long been a need for more and better representation across all forms of media, and REPCO provides a great opportunity to that end.”

— Jeff Hunt, Storied:SF

“As a journalist, it can be hard to find a balance between your objective work and the work you wish you could be doing. As a contributor to REP Co, I am able to play a more active role in being an advocate for those I want to write for.”

— Ahalya Srikant, Writer

“Working with Rep co has been so rewarding. It encompasses all the things that I love the most about photography—connecting with others, telling stories, finding beautiful moments, and collaborating with incredibly talented people.”
